At MJ Cricket Academy, we specialize in training juniors with a balanced approach that combines structure, patience, and fun. Our goal is to help young players build basic skills, develop a strong understanding of the game, and most importantly, foster a love for cricket.

We believe that the under-14 age group is a crucial stage where children are ready to refine their skills, improve fitness, and grasp basic game strategies—all while ensuring the game remains enjoyable and engaging.

Focus Areas for Under-14 Players

Batting, Bowling, and Fielding Fundamentals

We focus on teaching the basics of key cricket skills:
Batting – proper grip, stance, footwork, shot choices, and front/back foot shots.
Bowling – spin/seam styles, grip, run-up, action, aim, and follow-through.
Fielding – catching, throwing, ground stops, movement, and teamwork.

Understanding Game Rules and Strategy
